Z_old_Outsider Art
Outsider Art appear for the first time in my sculptures in 1996, with the series “of machines and men”. This series who is amused to mix massages earthen with elements of recovery of wood and metal has marked a true turning point in the creative process.
After done these characters overlapping improbable machines, I started to pick up bits of wood. I wanted to make the animals accompanying humans. But little by little, these animals which were mainly of birds began to take off, and ended up all alone on the front of the stage. This gave a first series that I called “The funny bird”.
Three other series have followed these birds declining the possibilities offered by this technique, with roots first, by adding clothes later, and finally by associations of characters, half animal half human.
